A Special Evening with Daryln Brewer Hoffstot & Foraged Floral Workshop

Join us for a special evening featuring author Daryln Brewer Hoffstot and her new book, “A Farm Life.” Daryln will share observations from the fields and forests of her Western Pennsylvania farm. Alongside Daryln, Anne Dickson will lead a foraged floral workshop highlighting the region's seasonal bounty.

Daryln Brewer Hoffstot is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Boston Globe and Pittsburgh Quarterly. Her essay in The New York Times, “On a Pennsylvania Farm, Nature Is Not Just Carrying On,” won a Notable Mention in The Best American Science and Nature Writing 2021.
