We are seeking a friendly, creative, and customer-focused Shop Associate to join our shop team in the Aspinwall flagship location. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, appreciates flowers and beautiful products, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in person and by phone
- Help customers select and order floral arrangements, plants, and gift items for everyday occasions and special events
- Process sales transactions accurately through the POS system (Shopify)
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the sales floor and displays
- Receive and unpack merchandise and plant deliveries
- Assist with merchandising, restocking, and seasonal displays
- Coordinate customer orders, pickups, and deliveries
- Support designers and staff with basic floral preparation as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and lasting customer relationships
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Flexible availability, including holidays and weekends
- Interest in flowers, design, home décor, or gifting is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate boxes/buckets

We are looking for a talented and dependable Freelance Floral Designer to support our Aspinwall shop location. This position is ideal for an experienced designer with a strong creative eye, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced floral environment.
Responsibilities
- Design floral arrangements for daily orders, weddings and events
- Execute floral designs in the shop’s signature style while incorporating creativity and attention to detail
- Process and prepare flowers, including cleaning, conditioning, and organizing inventory
- Assist with event production, installations, and breakdowns as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with shop staff to ensure timely completion of orders and event work
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and high-volume production periods
Qualifications
- Previous floral design experience required
- Adequate knowledge of flowers, color palettes, mechanics, and floral care
- Comfortable working efficiently under deadlines
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
- Ability to lift buckets, boxes and materials as needed
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred
