We are looking for a talented and dependable Freelance Floral Designer to support our Aspinwall shop location. This position is ideal for an experienced designer with a strong creative eye, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced floral environment.

Responsibilities

• Design floral arrangements for daily orders, weddings and events
• Execute floral designs in the shop’s signature style while incorporating creativity and attention to detail
• Process and prepare flowers, including cleaning, conditioning, and organizing inventory
• Assist with event production, installations, and breakdowns as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborate with shop staff to ensure timely completion of orders and event work
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and high-volume production periods 

Qualifications

• Previous floral design experience required
• Adequate knowledge of flowers, color palettes, mechanics, and floral care
• Comfortable working efficiently under deadlines
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required
• Ability to lift buckets, boxes and materials as needed
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred

Preferred Qualities

• Creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Positive attitude and collaborative 
• Experience with wedding and event work is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
